MTC GROUP CONNECT Fall 2026
Joining a Group Connect is an amazing opportunity to make new friends, grow as a follower of Jesus, and explore opportunities to start new small groups.
Cost: $10 / person
Time: 6:30-8:00pm
When: Tuesdays for 5 Weeks (Sept 29 - Oct 27)
Where: Sept 29 & Oct 27 - MTC Midnapore (200-240 Midpark Way SE)
Oct 6, Oct 13, Oct 20 - MTC Main (7 McKenzie Towne Gate SE)
What: Group Connect is a chance to gather together, build relationships and trial a new small group before making a long-term commitment! The first night is a meal & relationship builder.
The following weeks are going through the study with a facilitated leader at each group.
Following Group Connect, we'll have next step options available for groups to continue and explore avenues to connect.
How: After Registration You Will Be Place In a Group (friend requests can be made).
Your group roster will be sent out prior to the first meeting with a welcome from your leader.
Study Overview - Contextualize:
Translating Culture Into Gospel Communication
Nothing on this planet is untouched by culture, including how we view Jesus and the gospel. How you interpret, understand, and explain the gospel might be very different than how someone from a different culture does. In this four-week study, we will look into the book of Acts for examples of how to effectively contextualize the gospel for others. We will also learn how to better recognize our own cultural context as we seek to more effectively contextualize the gospel for ourselves.
